Valerie Trubnik, M.D. FACS

Dr. Trubnik, co-founder of Clinical Insights Consulting Group, is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. She completed her BA/MD program at CUNY Brooklyn College summa cum laude, earned her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine with honors, and pursued residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Trubnik is recognized by Castle Connelly as an Exceptional Woman in Medicine as well as Top Doctor in the NY Metropolitan area for over 5 years. Dr. Trubnik has served on clinical advisory boards for pharmaceutical and surgical device companies, acted as principal investigator on clinical trials, and has published research in multiple peer-reviewed journals as well as presented at national conferences. Dr. Trubnik serves as a speaker and clinical educator on various speaking bureaus. She currently serves as a senior glaucoma surgeon at Ophthalmic Consultants of Long Island.

Vincent S. DeOrchis, M.D. M.S. FAAN

Dr. DeOrchis, co-founder of Clinical Insights Consulting Group, is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disorders, with additional certifications in Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG) and neuromuscular ultrasound. He earned a B.S. in Neural Science at New York University, followed by a Master’s in Physiology and Biophysics at Georgetown University before obtaining his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After completing a medical internship at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, Dr. DeOrchis pursued his Neurology Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Montefiore Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident. He stayed on at Albert Einstein for a Clinical Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disease Fellowship, refining his expertise in EMG and neuromuscular ultrasound. Dr. DeOrchis has published peer-reviewed research in journals including Headache, Neurology, Journal of International Neurology and Muscle & Nerve, and has presented at national conferences. Recognized among New York’s “Top Doctors” by Castle Connolly, he currently serves as Director of Neurology and Stroke Director at St. Francis Hospital and Heart Center —where he assisted in developing the Catholic Health System’s first interventional stroke program and serves as the Vice President of the hospital’s medical executive committee. Dr. DeOrchis is also an attending physician at North Shore University Hospital and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Hofstra Medical School. In addition to his role on clinical speaking panels, Dr. DeOrchis serves on the clinical review board for neurologic device manufacturers where he also participates in device research and development. Dr. DeOrchis has a specialty interest in neuro-imaging and is proud to have assisted FujiFilm establish the first Synergy series MRI machine in the United States at Physicians’ OpenMRI facility in Lake Success, LI. His passion for medical technology and software development inspired him to create Headway: Migraine Monitoring, an app now available free on the Apple App Store, as well as a patent pending with the US Patent Office for an Avatar assisted Telemedicine platform. Dr. DeOrchis is managing partner of Neurological Associates of Long Island, PC in Lake Success NY.
